Classical red wines, Wednesday the 15th of March.
How is a red wine produced, is it always matured in wood barrels and does red wines allways improve with ageing? These questions and many more will be answered in an evening filled with classical red wines.

You will be guided through the main production processes for a red wine. We will look at origin, soil, fermentation process, maturation and of course the different grape varieties and how this influences the resulting wine. We will also discuss food and wine in combination and you will get suggestions for pairings with the different wines. 

Five wines will be tasted this evening:

Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux, France
Syrah from The Rhône valley, France
Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain
Nebbiolo from Piedmont, Italy
Sangiovese from Tuscany, Italy
